When can I enroll for benefits?
Generally you can enroll during these times:
- Annual Enrollment. You’ll be able to enroll or opt out of coverage each year during the Annual Enrollment period.
- When you’re first eligible. This is usually when you’re hired. If you’re a new hire, learn about the steps you need to take to get the benefits you want, and find easy-to-follow instructions on how to enroll.
- If you have a qualified family or work status change, such as birth, adoption, divorce or remarriage, or your spouse changes employment. You have 31 days from a qualified status change to enroll. If you miss this window, you'll need to wait until the next Annual Enrollment period.
